It was early in the morning, and Rafiki had been trying to sleep all night. He'd lie on his stomach, he'd lie on his back and stare up at the top of the baobab tree, he'd put his legs up against the hollow inside, and he even hung upside down by his feet on a branch for a while. No matter what, the shamanistic old mandrill simply couldn't get to sleep. Something was bothering him and he couldn't place it. So there he sat inside of his tree, exhausted, meditatively and somewhat blankly staring out at the Outlands. The wind picked up, and a familiar spirit of a good old friend circled Rafiki, rousing him. He placed a hand over his face and shook his head. "I know, I know. Hard times are coming, Mufasa. I'll do all that I can."

Vifaranga "Rafiki, I need help.I've been bugged by my conscience for weeks.I dont know if what i have done is treason or not.Iv'e taught an outlander to hunt!"
She was very serious. Her blue eyes looked sorrowful.
"If it is,will i be exiled?"

Rafiki opened his eyes and looked up at the lioness. "Vifaranga," The omniscient monkey stifled a smile. How he loved the youth. Slowly, he raised a hand again to literally try to wipe the smile off of his face, and then he stood and scratched his head ponderously. "Listen to me; tell nobody in the pride. It's only a cub, am I right? The rest of us might not be so accepting, however."

Rafiki jumped onto one of the branches of his tree, hanging upside down from his feet. He stared intently at the lioness for a moment before swinging up onto the branch and sitting down. "I don't know what to tell you." Of course he did. Rafiki knows everything, right? "What's the cub's name?"

The mandrill canted his head a little and his blue face furrowed into one of consolance as he leaped from his tree with a laugh. "We're all de same. Those cubs are the future. If you befriend them now, you begin to make peace for the generation ahead. In essence, you're turning them from their ways."
KIZKITZA Kitza purred contently as she listened to the music of the birds and the snorts of hooved animals, making her way along. Always inquisitive, she tuned in to the conversation as she was padding, and slowed her pace. Hmm.

"They said they wanted peace through out the prides, and to live someplace where they weren't called traitors for wanting a better life. Heres the part i worry about...Zazu is suspicious and they want to meet me by the great river!"
She didn't want to upset her friends or get them in trouble. She felt weak after talking.
"What should i do?"

Rafiki straightened his posture before leaning comfortably against his tree. "Meet them. Tell nobody. I will talk to Zazu. If there are problems, I'll do what I can. That's what Rafiki's here for, you know." He chuckled and grinned, knowing deep down that everything would resolve someday.
KIZKITZA The young lioness' lips curled at the edges, as if invisible winged cherubs were tugging them skybound. She continued to cut her trail through the tall grass, and her voice came lightly like the step of a gazelle; "I'll go with you."[/b][/font]

"Thank you for the advice,Rafiki!I could have never made it this far without you here!Whats your name young lion?"She said with a smile.
She felt uplifted for some reason. Was it because she was making a friend?Or was it because she was in for an adventure?
"My name is Vifaranga. You can call me Fara for short."

KIZKITZA As Rafiki continued to laugh and bowed his head in an exaggerated goodbye, Kizkitza padded closer to the other lioness and grinned fullheartedly. "Fara, I'm Kizkitza. Kitza is fine, it's a bit of a longwinded name." She felt the need to go with this lioness to the Great River, because she didn't want anyone to get hurt and she knew that these prides weren't exactly in the same enlightened, peaceful state of mind that she was. She wanted to see what she could do to help; however, she'd probably get hurt in the process of interfering, which was something that didn't occur to her.

"Thank you for the advice Rafiki! Kitza, lets go!"
Kizta looked as if she felt the same way.
They're two little rascals and they're quite cute.Amani is the older one,and Kilima is the youngest. They don't steal or be bad in any way, unless its on accident.
she tripped from being exited.
I'm okay!I hope I'm not holding up any plans.

The mandrill grinned at the thank-you and waved, as Kitza walked away with the other lioness. He looked quite confused as to where Kizkitza came from, and what she was all about. But so did everybody else. KIZKITZA The little female was padding alongside her new acquaintance, nodding at what she said as she spoke. "So - explain to me the problem in these lands." Her voice was thick with an Ethiopian accent, and there was a strange kind of earthly angelic glow wreathing her fur when the sun hit it. Ahh, the sun. Kitza's ears flattened and flicked back up contently.
