Love is never wrong & so it never dieslove will find a way - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -The sun was now rising, setting its glorious light over the Savannah. It first landed on the flat plain, awakening all of the animals that had a wonderful sleep overnight. They probably dreamed, dreamed about this paradise never ending, or maybe finding true love. Maybe they dreamed about the future, how they might play an important role in the great Circle of Life.
Let's not get into that right now, maybe in the future.
The light spread onto PrideRock, sweeping down and into the den. The lions and lionesses will wake up soon, and start doing whatever they needed to do. However, this male lion was already awake. The brute was down near the waterhole, laying, spread out on a flat rock. The rock dipped into the water a bit, and the tip of his white tail was swishing around in the water. Those baby blue eyes were gazing around, his interest in this land was enormous. It never ceased to surprise him about how the bloodline of Kings could keep track of such a paradise. He would go insane trying to do such a task.
Chuckling, he watched the birds starting to flap their wings and soar through the sky, making their presence known to the rest of the animals. The stomping of elephants were in the distance, as they were already hungry in the .5 seconds that they woke up. "And now, the life awakes." Chuckling again, he folded his white paws over one another and laid his head upon them. Those hues were still open though, taking in the bright light. If you noticed, he did not sleep last night. Too many things to do, he figured. He had to train himself, keep himself in shape. The condition he was in now was tempting to fall into an obese shape, but he could not allow that. He can't. The massive male lion had a reputation to uphold; and to impress the young cubs.
Yawning, his tongue flicked out then make in. Standing up, he stretched out his limbs and shook out his beautiful white mane. It shimmed under the sunlight, and he smirked to himself. "I wonder what today's tasks are for the lionesses..." No matter how much they loved him, they couldn't get mad at him; he played harmless tricks on them while they hunted. It was for shits and giggles, mainly.
After stretching and doing his business, he sat down on the flat rock and gazed at the northern border, towards the Outlands. His mind was blank, but his muscles were tense. "Where are the little cubs and lionesses by now?"
Getting a late start, are they?

Kizkitza had fallen asleep in the Pridelands, feeling confident that they didn't have much of a problem with her; everyone knew her as a peaceful soul. She had rested behind a bush by the water hole the previous night, after relentlessly chasing a gazelle until she got her dinner. It was easy to fall asleep, staring into the reflection of the stars from above in the mirrorlike water hole.
Kitza heard the birds begin their morning song and her ears perked up, vibrant green eyes opening to sunshine. Ahhh, good morning, heaven.
Slowly, she breathed her first conscious breath of morning air and rose to her paws, tiny figure stretching into child's pose with her front limbs stretching far ahead of her, back caving in and back end rising. Her ears continued to perk to the bird songs, and she hummed along as she stretched forward into a cobra pose, back legs flattening. Kitza's tail flicked and she stood, softly padding toward the water hole as she continued to hum beneath her breath.
The petite lioness was rolling her head to stretch her neck as she leaned down to lap contently at the fresh water, and she was completely oblivious to the lion at the other side of the pond. <3

Love is never wrong & so it never dieslove will find a way - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -In his thoughts, he wondered about many different types of things. One, for sure, was the Pridelands. Things seem uneasy, and Kovu has been spilling his guts to him about what goes on here. Kiara, Riora, Valerius, the lionesses... So many different things. The Outlands, the prince who they call Bakari.
Bakari troubles him. How could they teach a cub hateful, dark things? Why? What goes through their minds about such a thing? He's only a cub, in his cubhood, wanting to know the joys of exploring. But no, they train him, relentlessly. Day by day, night by night. Sooner or later, the brute figures the young prince will grow dark, and his heart filled with hate. He's undergoing a dark trance, and the male lion wonders if there is hope for him, any hope. The hope from the light, maybe.
Sighing, he dipped his head a bit, taking a few laps of the water from the pond. The water rippled, and he watched it spread out. Those baby blue orbs landed on a lioness on the other side, and he blinked. Did she notice him? Apparently not, as she was happily drinking from the waterhole. A soft chuckle escaped him, and his tail flopped to the other side. "Nice cold water, huh?" Easy enough conversation?
How come he has never seen her around?

"Nice cold water, huh?"Kitza glanced upwards, at attention when she heard the unknown voice so close. She took her last lap at the water and straightened her posture, fragile paws drawing back and haunches being leaned on until she sat. Sweet green eyes met the lion's for a moment before they averted and looked downward. She always felt like she'd been caught doing something bad when a Pridelander found her by the Water Hole.
"Uhmm... yeah!" Her averted greens turned to the water. The reflection of the sunrise was the backdrop behind her face, and she glanced over her shoulder at it. But she felt like she was being even more rude - as if she hadn't already been drinking from some pride's water hole, she hadn't introduced herself or made solid eye contact with whoever this lion was. She confirmed in her mind that that would make her much more respectable, and as her conscience nodded, she padded around the water hole to go introduce herself properly.
Kitza sat down beside the other lion. Although facing the water, she turned her head to look at him. A calm, kind voice spoke. Chesty and soft, like it literally came from the heart. "Nice morning, isn't it?"[/b] A small smile came over her face as she gave the lion a once-over. Not too bad. [/font]

Love is never wrong & so it never dieslove will find a way - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -The brute intently watched the lioness before him, gazing her over a few times. Ah, this was only a male thing -- well, also a female, but he was a player. More of a gentleman, ready to serve for his woman. Sounds nice, doesn't it? Following the movements of the lioness, time seemed to slow, but this was normal. A former rogue, a past trainee of dark, he had to keep the movements slow in his mind. He trained himself to do so, only because it gave him more time to attack if need be. Also, it was purely out of habit, so don't get offended.
"Uhmm... yeah!"
[/i] This made him blink a few times. His tail flicked from side to side, and he straightened his posture more. More like a respectable, former Pridelander should be. Her response was... surprising; he was shocked. Usually, lions or lioness see him and jump out of their fur, exclaiming, "LOOK! A HUGE BEAST!" However, she seemed the least bit surprised about his size. Maybe she had some run-ins with lions as big as he. This made him chuckle, as he wished to find something as big as him. Kovu told him, and so did the other lionesses, that the Great King Mufasa was bigger than him, which put him into awe. A lion much bigger than him, it was possible. He finally believed there were miracles after all. After a few moments, he chuckled, and he started to lay down on the flat surface of the rock. Once down, his right paw crossed over his left, and laid his head on his white paws. His tan fur shimmered in the sunlight, along with his white mane. Those baby blue hues never left the lioness, knowing that he has never seen her around, her heard of her. He gazed while she walked around the waterhole and sat beside him, gazing in front of him for a few moments. He wanted to sigh, pretty content with the silence, but he didn't. Company was a good thing, no? Finally, his eyes turned to see her looking at him, and he blinked. "Nice morning, isn't it?"[/i] A soft voice, tender, light as a feather. A lion smirk came to him, and he nodded. "Yes. A very nice morning. I'm surprised the cubs aren't out and about yet." Lifting his gaze from her, he looked out into the Savannah, glancing towards PrideRock every now and then, wondering when the fun was about to begin. Kitza had seen some big lions in her lifetime; she was simply free of inhibitions, paid no regards to size or whether one looks rough or innocent. Even the most ragged or enormous character could turn out to be friendly, and that reaction was generally what a kind soul like Kizkitza would evoke in nearly everyone.
"Yes. A very nice morning. I'm surprised the cubs aren't out and about yet."The small lioness smiled at the words of the massive lion, and her gaze followed his, but then further onto the horizon. Her head canted, like maybe there was a loose screw on one side. The cubs, the shady, strange cubs. The only cubs she'd encountered around here were Outlanders. Of course, she knew little to nothing about the divide between Pridelanders and the Outsiders.
"Really, this early? Where I come from, the cubs always woke up late." That voice, after overcoming a small bit of hesitance, slipped out like a breath from her light coppery maw. It was heavy with a slightly foreign accent. Perhaps the cubs in her Ethiopian pride had woken up late because nobody was out to get them from the other side.

► Something of the Something because idk yet ◄***Riora was poised at the edge of the waterhole, fish darting in and out of her view. She rarely had fish, since they were so slippery and so fast, but she thought that if she caught one she might be able to tell what they taste like. So she held her paw out, waiting for a fish to come within her grasp.
Sure enough, a silver flash swam past her and she slammed her paw down into the water. She was short, though; her paws met wetness and the fish swam away to live another day. She snorted in frusturation and withdrew her paw, focusing on something other than the water for now.
Two figures were pressed against the bright sun, seeming to talk. She recognized the larger one as the enormous lion, Maisha. Maisha was always doing something or another with lionesses; even the blindest cub knew that. But who was that next to him? She seemed smaller, but still unfamiliar, tail twitching and looking amused. And Maisha was talking to her? Maybe he knew her? She padded closer, hoping to take a better look.
When she found a suitable spot, she inspected the lioness more closely. She didn't seem that much different from the Pridelander lionesses, and she didn't carry the pungent scent that the Outlanders always seemed to. In fact, her scent was muddled, as if she was everywhere at the same time; not exactly Savanna, but not exactly anywhere else, either. She slunk out of her hiding place and eyed the lioness queerly. "Hello."***
