NAME: Khaeru (KAY-ROO)
MEANING: (none)
GOES BY: Khaeru
OTHER NICKNAMES: Khay

GENDER: Male
AGE: 6 months
BIRTHDAY: April 16th
PACK: Outlanders
SPECIES: Lion
STATUS: Single
POSTITION: Cub
LIVING SITUATION: Hoping to find a caretaker.

HAIR: The tuft of a tresses sprouting from the young leo’s crani is a very stained, espresso-like chestnut. It just about reaches his oculars at the front, though falls short at the back. It’s rather frizzy, but is perfectly straight.
EYES: The tiny brute possesses pools of a pallid lavender, almost blending with a sky blue shade.
HEIGHT: Khaeru is larger than most cubs, and in fact abnormally so; both his bulk and height make other kits look premature… or he simply seems a fair tad overgrown.
WEIGHT: The cub is rather heavy for his age, proving that his muscles are developing rather quickly.
- - - - -
OVERALL APPEARANCE:
Towering over most others his age, the kit is often feared of by the other younglings in the pride. His columns are perfectly proportioned to his core, smooth and slender yet visibly muscular. His griffs are needle like, and currently hide within his mitts, however with age they will lengthen and eject, projecting the potential danger of tampering with him. His ivory case is jagged and lethal, whilst his strength itself would be enough to snap bones. His frame is most definitely his largest asset.
The sheath which flawlessly coats Khaeru’s skin is a very pastel-like shade of chocolate. Quite a pale complexion indeed, however it’s in competition with the vibrantly contrasting mane; shaded a burnt coffee-bean, almost sable hue. Currently, his royal locks are but growing, though in adulthood they will be plentiful and enveloping.
The chasms beneath his fringe hold unique orbs of a soft slate blue, surrounded by sandy burly wood covers, just like his underbelly, toes and maw.
Overall, the baron is a cute one for now, and as the clock spins time will gift him with enriching features. What’s now seen as an affable little cub will grow into a fierce yet handsome lion, with vocals matching thunder itself.

LIKES: Rough-housing, training, outlanders, fresh meat, charisma in others, strong personas, intelligent lions, when he knows he can trust someone, sharpening his claws, being intimidating.
DISLIKES: Kovu, disrespect from others, dunces, pridelanders, famine, “plain-janes”, smart-asses, ego maniacs, distasteful creatures, being underestimated.
STRENGTHS: Intelligent, mature for his age, large and firm build, great physical strength.
WEAKNESSES: Is slightly over-confident, makes little time for socializing (is always training), is not obedient to authority figures (except parent).
WANTS: To have the glory of killing Kovu, to make something of himself, to bring wealth to the outlanders.
FEARS: The death of his pride, exile, being beaten to the task of terminating the Pridelands King.
OVERALL PERSONALITY:
Khaeru is a very intelligent kit, having matured a bit quicker than his friends. He is very focused and self disciplined, and is constantly training. Whether it be mental development, cardio enhancement, strength and muscle conditioning, or battle tactics and sparring experience, the brute is always busy. His main goal in life is to kill Kovu, seeing as he’d heard rumors that the dreaded “King” was the reason that his parents were cast away, that he lives in lands of scarce resource. He knows that if it were up to this supposed “King”, all the outlanders would be sent to hell; and those are things he simply cannot come to terms with.
Due to his constant exercise, Khaeru thinks he has an advantage over others. He has a bit of an ego, however he is careful not to mention something of fiction. Whatever the cub boasts about he makes sure is fact.
The boy’s mind is one of strict logic and strategy; a full analysis of any given situation is a must before diving into it. This allows him an advantage in many cases, especially since most characters don’t even so much as bother to foreshadow.
His pride is thought of highly in the young lions mind. Though many of the individuals can’t be trusted, he is appreciative of their acceptance. He shows great delight and pride in being a member of the Outlanders, and strives to one day bring resources and prosperity to the struggling, dysfunctional family.
Vendettas are not often planted within Khaeru’s psyche, though there are exceptions. In cases of murder or great harm, the massive baron will do what he can to bring hypothetical justice to the scenario.
All in all, Khay is a great lion to work out and spar with. In fact, he’s nice to be around too; he’s respectful, fun and can be inspiring with his rhetoric abilities. Bottom line, however, is to never tamper with him. That would be the biggest, and potentially final, mistake.

FAMILY:
All relatives deceased or unknown of.
HISTORY:
Rumors have the ability to kill, and that’s a fact proven by the fresh life of this little lion.
When he was born, he was titled a rogue. Though, his mother and father stuck together. They had an aspiration to create a pride of their own, and to manage it with care and the aspect of composure. They had a few other members, which consisted of his grandmother, a teenaged lioness, and two other cubs. They survived together for months, and eventually they stumbled upon the Pridelands and their thriving felines. In awe of the prosperity of the pride, they decided to try to appeal to the pride. What happened after that decision is a blur, but from a foggy memory, Khaeru remembers that Kovu himself had the parents and teen killed, and the cubs and senior exiled to the badlands. The cub himself knows that he was knocked out, and later found himself in the care of new faces; the outlanders. Since then, he’s been loyal to them and grateful of their care. He swears revenge on the tyrant, and awaits the day that he will be strong enough of taking him down and out.
In reality, this never happened. Khaeru blacked out because he slipped from a ledge and bumped his head on a rock. His family dispersed on their own, after figuring out that they had to leave the area immediately. They were torn, but they feared being detected and fled for their lives, unsure if the locals were friendly or murderous.
Khaeru’s ideas come from the dream he had while he was passed out, however, the adoption of one of the outlanders was a true gesture.
Three months have passed since then, and Khay currently still resides with his pride; the outlanders.
