Chava sneaking off from her mother found herself at the great river. She looked over the edge of the cliff type thing and saw a lot of crocodiles. It would be bad if she fell off, because then she would make a meal for a hungry Crocodile. She walked around the edge of the cliff thing looking down, finally her fear got the better of her and she walked away from the river.
She kept walking her little paws making almost no noise. She found a big flat rock sticking out of the ground, it kinda looked like priderock. She walked up to it, the sun had been shining on it make it warm when her paws touched it.
"I am Queen Chava!" She announced proudly. Of course this was only pretend, as it was highly unlikely that she would ever be queen when she grew up. She had a better chance of being queen of the outlands, where her mother was from.

Vitani Vitani, after a nice meal, went for a walk. She trotted past the waterhole and eventually stopped at the Great River. Looking out beyond the flowing water, she sighed. The huge bones of elephants met her eyes, her former home becoming a portal to the past. Suddenly, a small voice met her ears. "I am Queen Chava!" Vitani glanced at where the noise came from; It was Chava, standing on a rock that jutted out over the river. It was dangerously thin, and the alligators were gathering below. " Chava, what do you think you're doing?" she said, padding towards the young cub. Leading Chava away from the dangerous gators, she turned and faced her. " That's dangerous, you know! You could have fallen and got eaten."

Chava looked up at her, "Um, well I um" She couldn't think of a reason as to why she was out there, she sighed "I don't know" She told her. "I was playing, but I guess it was trying to get a glimpse of the outlands too."
The young cub looked up at the lioness, "I'm sorry" she looked back behind her at the dark shadowy outlands. Chava then remembered she wasn't supposed to go past the tree of life, she was way past that.

Malika, baby;] From the distance that she was in, Malika saw the little cub, and that fake of a lioness, Vitani. She growled low, as she hated Vitani, as much as she hated Kovu. Why? They were TRAITORS! Who would betray the Outlands? Only a weak lion would. An extremely weak lion. Malika thought of this, and her hate grew. Those long, sharp claws of her extracted, and they slowly rubbed against the soil, making small cracks.
Where was Malika, you ask? She was hidden, in the long brush, her crimson hatred eyes watching. When will she pop up? She waited, but her thin patience was running out. Breezes swept, and it ran through her fur. She shivered. She hated those breezes. She loves the humidity and the warm, sweaty air in the Outlands. These Pridelands were disgusting to her. Again, she started to growl, as she watched Vitani scowl the little cub. Maybe if the cub wanted to go into the Outlands, she could. She looks fat enough to be for dinner. Malika chuckled, and dipped her head lower.
Those rather muscular hind legs of hers crouched. She was ready to spring to them. Her front legs arched, and her tail flicked. She watched, waiting, just waiting to pounce... And this was her moment. Those hind legs retracted, so did her front, leaping her into the air. She flew over Vitani and the cub, who's name she noted was Chava, and skidded to a halt in front them. She leaped, facing them, her front legs arched. Those claws extracted, and she snapped at Vitani, growling.
"WHAT are you doing here, VITANI?! I should eip you apart...," she growled, her hind legs crouching. She didn't care if she scared the cub. She wanted to, in fact.

Vitani Vitani spun around, facing the newcomer. What met her eyes was a gray pelt, black tufts along the lion's spine. Malika. Vitani drew her teeth back in a menacing snarl and positioned herself in front of the cub. " Don't you dare move," she whispered to the trembling heap of fur behind her, making sure she didn't get in trouble. " What am I doing here?!" She spat at Malika, fury rising. " I think I live here! But I see someone who doesn't, so they better hightail it back to their pile of bones while they can!"

Kira was looking for her Cub Chava, "Chava! Where are you!?" She yelled, running. She checked all the places her daughter normally plays. She saw Vitani talking to a cub, looking closer she seen it was hers.
She ran up to the two nuzzling her daughter, "I was so scared. You know your not allowed to be out this far" She scolded also, she turned when she heard a familiar voice. She remembered this Lioness being a ex outlander like Vitani herself. She beard her teeth and growled.

Malika, baby;] She growled, very loudly now, as Vitani and, Kira, the other betrayer!, growled at her. Malika immediately got offensive. They were all smack on the border, on nobody's side. However, they can see the Outlands closer, so it was all judged by that. She started to laugh, a snarling, menacing laugh. She stretched her paws out, her claws shining under the sunlight. Her dark, almost black, fur bristled, and the black tufts seemed to perk up a bit, along with her ears.
The tail of hers was high into the air, flicking. This showed she was dominant, and that she would remain that way. Laughing again, like madman, she peered both of Kira and Vitani. She looked down at the cub, who was practicially pissing in her fur. Malika took a step forward, snapped at Vitani, and kept an eye on both of them.
"You live here?! Ha! You live out there, you traitor. Why don't you run back to your sweet-old brother, who's going to DIE under my PAWS!" Malika laughed, and slowly unarched. She stood straight, tail still high in the air. Her eyes calmed, and seemed to slit, and she walked around Vitani and Kira, all high and mighty like her personality was. Peering at Kira quickly, she hissed under her breath, "Why don't you get your little scared heap of fur out of here, hm? It'll be wise, Kira, and and you'll be like your mother." Laughing, she stopped circling them, and stood in front of her Outlands. You could see all of the termite mounds and such behind her, and the dried, humid air that seemed to swirl. Again, she stood high, her tail up, her eyes watching them both.

Vitani Vitani snarled, exposing her canines. She looked Malika in the eye, cold fury meeting deep hatred. " Go back to the hellhole you came from, Malika, and leave us alone. Unless," she said, a glint in her eye, " you want us to deal with you the same way we dealt with Scar and Zira." She slowly slid her claws out and raked them against the soft earth beneath her. They sank into the soil, leaving trailing clawmarks. " You don't scare us." She took a threatening step forward. " But we can most certainly scare you." The look in Vitani's eyes held a challenge.

Chava Chava was all huddle up and shaking. She dared not move from the protection of her mother and Vitani. She looked at the new lionless, she looked very scary. She covered her eyes with her front paws scared to death, right now she just wanted to be back at pride rock, where it was safe. Kira Kira growled at Malika, " Don't you ever compare me to my mother!" She said the words like they were vemon she was spitting out. She looked back only once to check on Chava and see if she was okay. She didn't step forward like Vitani did but she did have the same look in her eye.

Slythor yawned loudly by the great river, watching the crocodiles swim.It had been a lovely day. He had eaten his fill on warthog and he was innocently now watching the lizards swim. He wondered why they could swim so well and they lions usually feared water. He had heard of a lion that swam as well as a fish a generation ago, but he was certainly dead now. He quietly groomed his large paws when he heard hissing. He slowly got up on his haunches and trotted over to the group of lionesses. It seemed they were having some kind of dispute.
He didn't see what the two lionesses were talking to until he ran into it, literally. With his size, he wasn't phased by the bump, but he stopped anyways and stared at the lioness with claws out. "I'm sorry." He spoke quietly, slowly backing away and looking worried. "Are you alright? I meant no harm." He murmured his apology. She looked angry and he had no wanting to further anger a lioness.

Malika, baby;] Malika felt a heavy pump, and she skidded towards the right a bit. Growling, she snapped her head towards the large male lion. She snapped at him, but didn't turn her back to Vitani and Kira. That was a big mistake if she did, but thankfully, she had her common sense. Again, she snarled and snapped at the male. With her right paw, her clas extracted, she swipped at his face, but purposely missed. When her right paw finally touched the ground with a heavy thump, her anger was sky-high.
"And WHO are YOU? You should watch where.. you.. were... going!" Malika yelled, snarling, menacingly angry. She shook her head, and started to calm down. She turned from the male lion, and focused on the task at hand. The task was to get Vitani, that little runt, and Kira out of here. Malika knew she hit a very bad button with Kira, comparing her to her mother. Her mother was better anyway, in her opinion. Kira seems more like a sissy, so she didn't want to deal with her. Actually, she decided she's going to make her go away. "Why Kira... you don't want your little hairball to get hurt, do you? Why don't you run along... back to your "precious" Kovu," as she said this, Malika laughed. She stood high again, in front of the Outlands, completely ignoring the male behind her. Tail high once more, her eyes again a crimson slit, she peered both at Vitani and Kira. Her eyes, though, challenged Vitani, as Kira was not important to her right now.

Vitani Vitani snorted, seeing that Malika wasn't going to make the first move. " She can talk the talk, but she can't walk the walk.." she thought to herself. Shaking her head free of any lose thoughts, Vitani growled at Malika and her threat to hurt Chava. " You're not where you belong, Malika. But if you want a fight so desperately..." she snarled, walking forward. " You have yourself one!" With a yowl, Vitani flung herself at Malika and dug her claws into the other lioness's pelt, falling off but leaving a good reminder of who Malika was messing with. " Are you a lion," she yelled, " Or a coward?!"

Kira Kira wouldn't leave Vitani by herself with Malika, even thought she was sure Vitani would win, Malika didn't always play fair. " That hairball your referring to Malika is my daughter, and she happens to have a name" She said and let a low growl escape her, she felt Chava shaking because she was push up against her hind leg. When Vitani lunged Kira dug her claws into the ground, she knew that if she had to end up fighting Chava would be unprotected. And she didn't trust Malika around her daughter at all. She let a low mencing growl escape her.

The male lion watched such madness continue. As one lioness sank her claws into the other's haunches, he backed up, afraid from the swiping that came a hair's length away from being painful and the ferocity of the three lionesses. Instead he carefully took a few steps back, his golden eyes wide from fear.
He chose not to say anything for now. If it became more violent he would choose to step in... a cub shouldn't see such violence between adults. It was not good for the mental health of a little one. He plodded beside the cub and sat down, hoping the mother wouldn't react just as violently as the other one. He watched intently, waiting i there would be any need for intervention.

Malika, baby;] Malika roared as Vitani's claws dug and ripped off her skin. Blood started to slowly drip, the red staining her dark pelt. She grew enraged. However, she was out-numbered, and she realized this. She didn't want to back down. She hated doing that. Growling, she tried to gather up her balance. Her right paw dug into the ground, and her left steadied her. What could she do? There was Vitani, Kira, and that friggin big overgrown male lion. Snarling, she decided to leave a mark as Vitani left on her.
Twirling around, her right paw, with claws extracted, was in the air. With a quick movement, she slashed it down on Vitani's face, hoping it would hit. She was in pain, a lot of pain. When her paws landed on the ground, she figured that was enough. Quickly, with as much speed she could muster, she dashed off. Her tail was high in the air, though. The direction she was going was to the Outlands, maybe to get back-up, or maybe not. All she wanted was to get either Bam or Tau to clean up that wound she has. Wincing, and snarling angrily that echoed in the jungle air, she disappeared into the hot and humid air of the Outlands.OOC: Malika has left the area... for now!
